1 It pleased Darius to set over the kingdom an hundred and twenty princes, which should be over the whole kingdom;
2 And over these three presidents; of whom Daniel was first: that the princes might give accounts unto them, and the king should have no damage.
3 Then this Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes, because an excellent spirit (the Holy Spirit) was in him; and the king thought to set him over the whole realm.
As we are about to see within this chapter, Daniel is a type of those who have the seal of God in their forehead and ‘the presidents and princes’ are a type of the Kenites (at least some of them being possibly literally Kenites) operating incognito within the Persian Empire which is symbolic of the Christian nations in Daniel 8 and 11 and the lion of Daniel 7.
The Kenites are the leopard of Daniel 7 during the five month long hour of temptation providing the infrastructure of the one world system that comes into being at the woe of the 5th trumpet.
At the woe of the sixth trumpet the Christian nations will be plucked up by the roots when they begin to worship Satan instead of Christ.
4 Then the presidents and princes sought to find occasion against Daniel concerning the kingdom; but they could find none occasion nor fault; forasmuch as he was faithful, neither was there any error or fault found in him.
Again: Daniel is in this chapter symbolic of those with the seal of God in their forehead who stand against Satan when he appears as the antichrist at the woe of the sixth trumpet meaning those of the Zadok initially and when the Holy Spirit speaks through them the seed of the seal of God will come to fruition within the minds of the 144,000.
In other words: they will come out of the deception at that time and from that point forward have the seal of God in their forehead also.
Not just the 144,000 but also those who of their own free will choose to hearken to the voice of the Holy Spirit, repenting and then being grafted back into God’s family tree also.
5 Then said these men, We shall not find any occasion against this Daniel, except we find it against him concerning the law of his God.
6 Then these presidents and princes assembled together to the king, and said thus unto him, King Darius, live for ever.
7 All the presidents of the kingdom, the governors, and the princes, the counsellors, and the captains, (the entire one world government in the futurist sense is what you could see this as, which is made up of the four beasts you can read of in the next chapter) have consulted together to establish a royal statute, and to make a firm decree, that whosoever shall ask a petition of any God or man for thirty days, save of thee, O king, he shall be cast into the den of lions.
Satan’s fallen angel locust army (who are part of Daniel’s fourth beast) have teeth as the teeth of lions as you can see in Revelation 9:8.
In these particular verses Darius the King is not a type of Christ (as we saw at the end of Daniel 5) but a type of those who were Christians, but then at 666 were deceived into worshipping Satan instead of Christ, which is when they were plucked up by the roots (as we will see in the next chapter) which is when they will begin causing their own family members and friends to be delivered up to Death (which is one of Satan’s names) because they will think Satan is Jesus at that time.
Daniel, who is one of the Zadok literally, is here in this chapter a type of those of the Zadok who have the seal of God in their foreheads alive during the hour of temptation.
We have to learn when to shift gears when we study our Father’s Word in order to rightly divide the word of truth.
Again, the Persian Empire is symbolic of the Christian nations in Daniel chapters 8 and 11 and a type of Christ Himself at the end of Daniel 5.
Here, in Daniel 6, we will see king Darius go from being a type of the Christian nations, to a type of Christ Himself and then back to a type of the Christian nations again.
8 Now, O king, establish the decree, (the Christian nations being the king of the south in Daniel 11, but not after they worship the antichrist and are plucked up by the roots, no longer being Christian nations but part of the one world religious system of the false christ) and sign the writing, that it be not changed, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which altereth not.
9 Wherefore king Darius signed the writing and the decree.
Being deceived by ‘the presidents and princes’ which is symbolic (in the futurist sense) of the fourth king of the south (which is the lion of Daniel 7) being deceived into worshipping the antichrist by the sons of Cain (who are the leopard of Daniel 7) as well as Satan’s fallen angels who are the locust army you can read of in Revelation 9 who are part of Daniel’s fourth beast along with Satan himself and those ten fallen angel kings.
10 Now when Daniel (who is symbolic of those of the Zadok delivered up in the latter half of the hour of temptation) knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime.
11 Then these men assembled, and found Daniel praying and making supplication before his God.
The Zadok being the only ones who will refuse to worship the antichrist (initially) but again: when the Holy Spirit speaks through them many will come out of the deception and into the truth.
12 Then they came near, and spake before the king concerning the king’s decree; Hast thou not signed a decree, that every man that shall ask a petition of any God or man within thirty days, save of thee, O king, shall be cast into the den of lions? The king answered and said, The thing is true, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which altereth not.
13 Then answered they and said before the king, That Daniel, which is of the children of the captivity of Judah, regardeth not thee, O king, nor the decree that thou hast signed, but maketh his petition three times a day.
14 Then the king, when he heard these words, was sore displeased with himself, and set his heart on Daniel to deliver him: and he laboured till the going down of the sun to deliver him.
Upon hearing the words of the Holy Spirit spoken through the Daniels of the end times, many who caused their family and friends to be delivered up to Death (which is one of Satan’s names) will most likely be among those who realize at that time the reality of the situation causing them to repent whereby they can be grafted back into God’s family tree and able to take part in the first resurrection at the seventh trumpet.
15 Then these men assembled unto the king, and said unto the king, Know, O king, that the law of the Medes and Persians is, That no decree nor statute which the king establisheth may be changed.
16 Then the king commanded, and they brought Daniel, and cast him into the den of lions.
Again: a type of the deceived fourth king of the south of Daniel 11 causing those of the Zadok to be delivered up to the false christ: the false lion of the false tribe of Judah.
Now the king spake and said unto Daniel, Thy God whom thou servest continually, he will deliver thee.
As you can see in Revelation 9:4, Satan’s fallen angel locust army can only hurt those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads because they are an army of deception and their teeth are as the teeth of lions (figuratively speaking) as you can see in Revelation 9:8.
They will deceive most Christians into worshipping Satan when he appears as the antichrist in the midst of Daniel’s 70th Week which was seven years but is now shortened to five months as we also know from Revelation 9.
17 And a stone was brought, and laid upon the mouth of the den; and the king sealed it with his own signet,
King Darius here (in Daniel 6:17) is symbolic of the TRUE Christ sealing those of the Zadok who will be delivered up during the sixth trumpet in their foreheads with the truth of God’s word whereby they cannot be deceived.
and with the signet of his lords;
Christ being both King of kings and Lord of lords.
that the purpose might not be changed concerning Daniel.
Again, you have to shift gears as the Word does as far as these types are concerned.
Momentarily going back to the sealing that transpires before the hour of temptation begins, if you look up that word ‘sealed’ in Revelation 7:3, as you can see: ‘sealed’ is #4972 (in the Greek dictionary of the Strong’s Concordance) which means to stamp with a signet.
The Zadok have the seal of God all throughout the five month long hour of temptation but the 144,000 only have the seed of the seal of God until it springs forth in their forehead because of the latter rain which is the Holy Spirit speaking through the Zadok (a.k.a. the church in Philadelphia) who Daniel is symbolic of in this chapter.
18 Then the king went to his palace, and passed the night fasting:
Going back to king Darius being a type of those who will be deceived into delivering up those who will refuse to worship the antichrist but will (upon hearing the Holy Spirit speak) realize the reality of the situation and repent and begin fasting from Satan’s one world religious system.
You can read of the fasting of the end times in Joel 1:14 and, in verse 6 of that same chapter, you can see the locust army (who are Satan’s angels) will have the teeth of a lion and he (meaning Satan) hath the cheek teeth of a great lion: the army of the false lion of the false tribe of Judah who at the sixth trumpet will go into their fourth and final stage (the consumer) when that third will die spiritually when those three Christian nations are plucked up by the roots as we will see in Daniel 7.
You can also read of the four stages of the locust army that transpire during the five month long hour of temptation in Joel 1:4. The locust army being Satan’s angels who are cast to earth at the woe of the fifth trumpet (along with Satan) after that war in heaven that you can read of in Revelation 12.
neither were instruments of musick brought before him: and his sleep went from him.
19 Then the king arose very early in the morning, and went in haste unto the den of lions.
20 And when he came to the den, he cried with a lamentable voice unto Daniel: and the king spake and said to Daniel, O Daniel, servant of the living God,
Notice (in Revelation 7) the seal of God is called the seal of the Living God: that truth and the seed thereof placed within the minds of the servants of God.
is thy God, whom thou servest continually, able to deliver thee from the lions?
21 Then said Daniel unto the king, O king, live for ever.
22 My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions’ mouths, that they have not hurt me: forasmuch as before him innocency was found in me; and also before thee, O king, have I done no hurt.
23 Then was the king exceedingly glad for him, and commanded that they should take Daniel up out of the den.
Obviously, from this point forward to the end of this chapter king Darius is once again a type of the TRUE Christ Who upon His return will send His angels to gather His elect (as well as those who of their own free will chose to repent) from the four winds, at the seventh trumpet, immediately after the hour of temptation.
Christ will return with those of the Zadok who had lived and died throughout the centuries (which would include Daniel) which is when the first resurrection transpires.
So Daniel was taken up out of the den, and no manner of hurt was found upon him, because he believed in his God.
24 And the king commanded, and they brought those men which had accused Daniel, and they cast them into the den of lions, them, their children, and their wives; and the lions had the mastery of them, and brake all their bones in pieces or ever they came at the bottom of the den.
A type of the destruction of Satan’s one world system that we will also see in the next chapter with Daniel’s fourth beast being destroyed completely and all flesh being done away with.
Satan himself will at that time be locked up in the bottomless pit until the thousand years are finished.
Those who are still part of the lion, the bear and the leopard who fail to repent before the TRUE Christ returns will have their dominion taken away (because the one world system will cease to exist at that time) but they will go through the millennium being given the opportunity to stand against Satan when he gets released from the bottomless pit after the thousand years are finished whereby they can take part in the second resurrection and go into the eternity.
If they choose to follow Satan (again) at that time they will be blotted out of existence in the lake of fire with Satan, who is the beast that ascends out of the bottomless pit (after the thousand years are finished) and goeth into perdition.
25 Then king Darius wrote unto all people, nations, and languages, that dwell in all the earth; Peace be multiplied unto you.
26 I make a decree, That in every dominion of my kingdom men tremble and fear before the God of Daniel: for he is the living God, and stedfast for ever, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed, and his dominion shall be even unto the end.
27 He delivereth and rescueth, and he worketh signs and wonders in heaven and in earth, who hath delivered Daniel from the power of the lions.
28 So this Daniel prospered in the reign of Darius, and in the reign of Cyrus the Persian.
