1 Nebuchadnezzar the king made an image of gold, whose height was threescore cubits, and the breadth thereof six cubits: he set it up in the plain of Dura, in the province of Babylon.
In the futurist sense, this third chapter of the book of Daniel looks forward to 666 (the sixth seal, the sixth trumpet and the sixth vial) which is when Satan appears as the antichrist (which Nebuchadnezzar was a type of) in the middle of the five month long hour of temptation when all six trumpets of deception are sounding at the same time.
The image of the beast you can read of in the Book of Revelation is the image of Satan as the antichrist transmitted throughout the world beginning at 666 which is when most Christians will die spiritually when they worship the devil instead of Christ.
666 is when the head of gold we read of in the last chapter goes from being symbolic of the Christian nations in the first half of the hour of temptation to the Babylon of the end times when the Christian nations get plucked up by the roots when most Christians die spiritually becoming the many-membered body of the antichrist in the great apostasy, grafted into Satan’s family tree along with the natural branches of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil who are the Kenites: those stones worn smooth we are supposed to enumerate in order to identify the false messiah.
All the world will worship the devil whenever he appears is the antichrist at 666 except for those of the Zadok which we will see a type of in this chapter as well: those who will be delivered up once all six trumpets of deception are sounding at the same time which is when the Holy Spirit will speak through them bringing the 144,000 (as well as whosoever will) out of Babylon and back into God’s family tree whereby they can take part in the first resurrection at the seventh trumpet when the TRUE Christ returns: the TRUE Rock Who destroys Satan’s role of antichrist as well as his one world system upon His return as we read of in the last chapter.
2 Then Nebuchadnezzar the king sent to gather together the princes, the governors, and the captains, the judges, the treasurers, the counsellors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, to come to the dedication of the image which Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up.
When the one world political system becomes a one world religious system at 666, all the world will worship Satan except for the two witnesses (who are most likely Moses and Elijah) and those of the church in Philadelphia (the only church out of the seven churches written of in the book of Revelation that won’t be deceived when Satan appears as the antichrist) but what the Holy Spirit will say through those of the church in Philadelphia when they get delivered up is what will bring the 144,000 (as well as whosoever will) out of the deception causing the same sort of chain reaction written of in the book of Acts.
3 Then the princes, the governors, and captains, the judges, the treasurers, the counsellors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, were gathered together unto the dedication of the image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up; and they stood before the image that Nebuchadnezzar had set up.
4 Then an herald cried aloud, (going back to what happens when Satan appears as the antichrist) To you it is commanded, O people, nations, and languages,
In Revelation 13:15 we see the image of the beast (which is the televised image of Satan when he appears as the false christ transmitted throughout the world) which is what most of the world will worship at that time. Satan causes whoever refuses to worship the image of the beast (i.e. Satan) to be ‘killed’ which means delivered up to ‘Death’ which is one of Satan’s names.
The Holy Spirit speaking through those of the church in Philadelphia is what will cause many to repent at that time and return to the TRUE Christ and to then be delivered up also during the space for repentance during the sixth trumpet:
Many will then come out of the confusion because of what the Holy Spirit will say through those who are delivered up.
5 That at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut and psaltery in symphony with all kinds of musick, (which in the futurist sense means when all six trumpets of deception are sounding at the same time) ye fall down and worship the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king hath set up:
6 And whoso falleth not down and worshippeth shall the same hour (looking forward to the latter half of the five month long ‘hour of temptation’) be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace.
7 Therefore at that time, when all the people heard the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery and all kinds of musick, all the people, the nations, and the languages, fell down and worshipped the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up.
Just as most of the world will worship Satan when he appears as the antichrist in Jerusalem: the king of Babylon of the end times.
8 Wherefore at that time certain Chaldeans came near, and accused the Jews.
Meaning the three who were of Judah but in the futurist sense are a type of those of the church in Philadelphia.
Again: the church in Philadelphia will be the only church out of the seven that will not be deceived into worshipping Satan when he appears as the antichrist.
9 They spake and said to the king Nebuchadnezzar, O king, live for ever.
10 Thou, O king, hast made a decree, that every man that shall hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut and psaltery in symphony with all kinds of musick, shall fall down and worship the golden image:
11 And whoso falleth not down and worshippeth, that he should be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace.
12 There are certain Jews whom thou hast set over the affairs of the province of Babylon, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego; these men, O king, have not regarded thee: they serve not thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.
13 Then Nebuchadnezzar in his rage and fury commanded to bring Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. Then they brought these men before the king.
Again: Nebuchadnezzar is a type of antichrist and Shadrach, Meshech and Abednego are a type of those of the church in Philadelphia who are the only church out of the seven that will refuse to worship Satan’s image that will be transmitted throughout the globe when all six trumpets of deception are sounding at the same time.
14 Nebuchadnezzar spake and said unto them, Is it true, O Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, do not ye serve my gods, nor worship the golden image which I have set up?
15 Now if ye be ready that at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut and psaltery in symphony with all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the image which I have made; well: but if ye worship not, ye shall be cast the same hour into the midst of a burning fiery furnace; and who is that God that shall deliver you out of my hands?
16 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter.
17 If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king.
18 But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.
19 Then was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury, and the form of his visage was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego: therefore he spake, and commanded that they should heat the furnace one seven times more than it was wont to be heated.
20 And he commanded the most mighty men that were in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, and to cast them into the burning fiery furnace.
The fire and smoke and brimstone that issues out of the mouths of Satan’s angels during the sixth trumpet being symbolic of the deception that Satan is Jesus returned which is what causes most Christians to die spiritually at that time in other words six of the seven churches written of in the book of Revelation.
All but those of the church in Philadelphia which is who Shadrach, Meshech and Abednego are a type of.
21 Then these men were bound in their coats, their hosen, and their hats, and their other garments, and were cast into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.
22 Therefore because the king’s commandment was urgent, and the furnace exceeding hot, the flames of the fire slew those men that took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.
23 And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.
24 Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonished, and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his counsellors, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king.
25 He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like a son of God.
Meaning an angel as you can see pointed out in the Companion Bible.
God having sent an angel to protect Shadrach, Meshech and Abednego from being killed physically just as God will protect those of the church in Philadelphia from being killed spiritually by the fire and smoke and brimstone that will issue of the mouths of Satan’s angels when their images are transmitted throughout the globe when all six trumpets of deception are sounding at the same time.
26 Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace, and spake, and said, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, ye servants of the most high God, come forth, and come hither.
Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, came forth of the midst of the fire.
27 And the princes, governors, and captains, and the king’s counsellors, being gathered together, saw these men, upon whose bodies the fire had no power, nor was an hair of their head singed,
As Christ says in verse 18 of Luke 21: “there shall not one hair of your head perish”, speaking not only those of the church in Philadelphia but also to all who will be delivered up during the sixth trumpet.
neither were their coats changed, nor the smell of fire had passed on them.
28 Then Nebuchadnezzar spake, and said, Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, Who hath sent His angel, and delivered His servants that trusted in Him, and have changed the king’s word, and yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god, except their own God.
29 Therefore I make a decree, That every people, nation, and language, which speak any thing amiss against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made a dunghill: because there is no other God that can deliver after this sort.
30 Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, in the province of Babylon.
