THE BOOK OF JOEL Chapter 1

1 The word of the LORD that came to Joel the son of Pethuel.

In other words: this book of Joel (which is the second book of the Twelve Minor Prophets) consists of the word of YHVH that came to the prophet Joel whose name means YHVH is God.

² Hear this, ye old men, and give ear, all ye inhabitants of the land.

This is written to all the inhabitants of the earth and it concerns the events of the five month long hour of temptation that begins when Satan and his angels get cast to earth at the woe of the fifth trumpet.

Hath this been in your days, or even in the days of your fathers?

What is about to be described is unprecedented because never before has Satan and his fallen angel locust army been cast to earth causing a one world political system to emerge.

The locust army we are about to read of consists exclusively of Satan’s angels that are cast out of heaven with him at the beginning of the five month long hour of temptation which is when the four stages of the locust army begin:

The gnawer, the swarmer and the devourer stages in the first half of the five months and then at the woe of the sixth trumpet (when Satan appears in Jerusalem as the antichrist) the consumer stage begins.

³ Tell ye your children of it, and let your children tell their children, and their children another generation.

All the way up to this final generation that began in 1948.

⁴ That which the palmerworm hath left hath the locust eaten; and that which the locust hath left hath the cankerworm eaten; and that which the cankerworm hath left hath the caterpiller eaten.

In the Hebrew, this reads as follows:

Gnawer’s remnant,
Swarmer eats:
Swarmer’s remnant,
Devourer eats
Devourer’s remnant,
Consumer eats.

Again: the first three stages (the gnawer, the swarmer and the devourer) happen in the first half of the hour of temptation and then after the deadly wound to the one world political system the fourth and final stage (the consumer) begins at the sixth seal, the sixth trumpet and the sixth vial when Satan appears as the antichrist in the middle of the five month long hour of temptation which was seven years but (as we know from Revelation 9) Daniel’s 70th Week has been shortened to five months.

As you can see in Revelation 9:1, the fifth angel sounded beginning the grace period of the fifth trumpet and the beginning of that grace period is what John saw in Revelation 7:

And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, (the four winds always means the five month long hour of temptation) that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree. And I (John) saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.

In other words, the angels were told to not allow the woe of the fifth trumpet to occur until after the sealing of the servants of our God in their foreheads (which in most cases means the planting of the seed of the seal of God in their minds) was accomplished.

Only then, at the beginning of the five month long hour of temptation, will Satan and his fallen angel locust army be cast from heaven to earth and only then do the four stages of the locust army begin.

So, Again: the fifth angel sounded… (as you can see in Revelation 9:1) and then after the grace period ends, the woe of the fifth trumpet transpires:

…and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: (Satan, when he gets cast from heaven at the woe of the fifth trumpet as you can see in Revelation 12:9) and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit.

And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, (symbolic of the deception God will allow Satan and his angels to cause at that time) as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit.

And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: (notice the locusts did not come out of the pit: they came out of the smoke of the pit which is symbolic of the deception: Satan’s angels will be pretending to be something that they are not as they most likely will be seen arriving in their flying vehicles) and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power.

The venom of a scorpion very rarely kills without the victim being stung multiple times by multiple scorpions.

It is a gradual process in other words, in this case: two and a half months during the gnawer, swarmer and devourer stages leading up to the spiritual death of the third part of men at 666 when the consumer stage begins.

And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.

Making it perfectly clear that these are not literally locusts, but are symbolic of the fallen angels who will be cast to earth with Satan at the beginning of the five month long hour of temptation.

And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man.

They do not physically kill people, only spiritually at 666 in the consumer stage.

We know they are an army of deception because they can only hurt those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.

The third part of men that will be slain spiritually at 666 are most Christians.

All but those who have the seal of God in their forehead.

We know from Revelation 11:13 that there are only seven thousand of these fallen angels and they are the negative to the positive that are the seven thousand Zadok who (for the most part) will return to earth with the TRUE Christ at the woe of the seventh trumpet.

We see in Revelation 9:16 (at the woe of the sixth trumpet when Satan appears as the false christ) that the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand but this only means they appeared to be an innumerable multitude because their images will be transmitted throughout the globe via the modern day technology.

⁵ Awake, ye drunkards, and weep; and howl, (come out of Babylon and repent in other words) all ye drinkers of wine,

The time frame here being after the consumer stage of the locust army begins at 666 when most Christians cease to be the virgin bride (spiritually speaking) and become the whore of Babylon (which means confusion) and the the wine of her fornication is what the inhabitants of the earth will be made drunk with as you can see in Revelation 17:2.

because of the new wine; for it is cut off from your mouth.

The new wine is symbolic of the New Covenant and Christ’s blood shed on the cross we must believe upon to inherit everlasting life.

Those who are deceived at 666 will be cut off from the TRUE Christ when they begin to worship the false christ, dying spiritually at that time and becoming the whore of Babylon in the apostasia.

This is how Satan will cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease in the midst of Daniel’s 70th Week (which was seven years, but is now five months) because most Christians will cease taking Communion to the TRUE Christ at that time as well as sacrificing their time to carry out the work Jesus commanded us to do.

Instead, they will be taking orders from Satan (because for the most part they will think he is Jesus returned) which is the in their right hand part of the mark of the beast.

⁶ For a nation is come up upon my land, strong, and without number,

As you can see in the Strong’s Concordance, this word translated as ‘land’ is erets in the Hebrew which (in this case) means the entire planet earth.

This word translated as ‘nation’ can even mean a flight of locusts: not literally locusts, but Satan’s fallen angel locust army.

Again, at 666 (in the consumer stage) they will appear to be without number because their images will transmitted on all the screens of the smartphones, computers and televisions throughout the globe.

whose teeth are the teeth of a lion, (as you can also see in Revelation 9:8) and he (not plural but singular) hath the cheek teeth of a great lion.

The second time we see that word ‘lion’ in this verse it is #3833 in the Strong’s Concordance, not #738 as it was the first time in this verse.

#738 is in reference to the locust army and #3833 is in reference to Satan himself who will appear as the antichrist at 666 claiming to be the Lion of the tribe of Judah when he is really the angel of the bottomless pit who is the king over the fallen angel locust army as we know from Revelation 9:11.

This is another way to positively identify the locust army as Satan’s angels who get cast to earth with him at the woe of the fifth trumpet which is when they will (like the scorpions of the earth) use deception to eat away at the truth within the minds of the Christians who do not have the seal of God in their foreheads.

First the deception will gnaw at them (figuratively speaking) when the five months begin…

Then comes a swarm of even more deception as to the so-called explanation of what the so-called locusts are…

Then the simple truth that their faith in Christ was based on (the very truth their salvation hinges upon which is the truth of God’s Word) is almost completely devoured…

Then the deadly wound to the one world political system occurs…

Then, at 666, they will be killed (spiritually speaking) when they worship Satan instead of Christ: their salvation will be consumed in other words.

Consumer eats.

⁷ he (singular, not plural) hath laid my vine waste, and barked my fig tree: he hath made it clean bare, and cast it away; the branches thereof are made white.

The TRUE Christ is the TRUE Vine but at 666 most Christians will begin worshipping the fake vine causing them to be cut off of God’s family tree and grafted into Satan’s family tree, becoming tares by adoption (a.k.a. evil figs) as opposed to wheat: the whore of Babylon as opposed to the virgin bride of Christ.

⁸ Lament like a virgin girded with sackcloth for the husband of her youth.

Wait for the TRUE Husband to return at the seventh trumpet whereby you remain a branch of the TRUE Vine.

⁹ The meat offering and the drink offering is cut off from the house of the Lord;

Because (again) in the midst of Daniel’s 70th Week (which has been shortened from seven years to five months) Satan will appear as the antichrist, causing the sacrifice and the oblation to cease (as you can see in Daniel 9:27) meaning most Christians will cease to take Communion to the TRUE Christ when they begin to whore after Satan in the apostasia.

the priests, the Lord’s ministers, mourn.

Those who will become the millennial priesthood at the seventh trumpet will mourn the spiritual death of their Christian brothers and sisters throughout the sixth trumpet.

¹⁰ The field is wasted, the land mourneth; for the corn is wasted: the new wine is dried up, the oil languisheth.

¹¹ Be ye ashamed, O ye husbandmen; howl, O ye vinedressers, for the wheat and for the barley; because the harvest of the field is perished.

The Christian preachers who misled their congregations by not warning them that before the TRUE Christ returns Satan will appear as the antichrist.

Be ashamed because those who were wheat have become tares by being grafted into Satan’s family tree along with the Kenites who are the natural branches of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil who will not be harvested into the barn of the TRUE Christ unless they repent before the seventh angel sounds.

They will be bound in bundles as tares as we know from Matthew 13, not taking part in the first resurrection which is at the harvest which is the end of the world when the TRUE Christ returns and if they fail to absorb the discipline taught by Christ through His millennial priesthood during the thousand years and stand against Satan after the thousand years are finished they will be blotted out of existence in the lake of fire.

Christ’s teachings of discipline during the millennium are what will restore the spiritual backbone of those who had their backbones liquefied by the deception of the fallen angels which is another reason their torment will be as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man.

¹² The vine is dried up, and the fig tree languisheth; the pomegranate tree, the palm tree also, and the apple tree, even all the trees of the field, are withered: because joy is withered away from the sons of men.

Remember the field is the world and the harvest is the end of the world as we know from Matthew 13.

The trees (which are symbolic of people) will die spiritually once Satan appears as the antichrist: the third part of trees dying at that time with the other two-thirds being dead already because they were not Christians.

All but those of the Zadok (a.k.a. the church in Philadelphia) will die spiritually at the woe of the sixth trumpet but then the Zadok will be delivered up and the Holy Spirit will speak through them bringing the 144,000 (as well as whosoever will) out of the confusion (which is what Babylon means) whereby they can repent and be grafted back into God’s family tree being then able to take part in the first resurrection.

This is why God says in Joel 2:12, Therefore also now, saith the LORD, turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, (from the ways of the world, especially the ways of the world during the sixth trumpet) and with weeping, and with mourning (repenting) and then (as we know from Joel 2:25) God will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten that is to say the endless years of eternal life most Christians will lose at the sixth trumpet.

Upon repentance (because of what the Holy Spirit will say through those who are delivered up during the sixth trumpet) they will then be able to take part in the first resurrection into eternal life (their endless years being restored as promised in Joel 2:25) and if not: they can absorb the discipline Christ will teach during the millennium and stand against Satan after the thousand years are finished in order to go into the Eternity which is the third world age.

¹³ Gird yourselves, and lament, ye priests: howl, ye ministers of the altar: come, lie all night in sackcloth, ye ministers of my God: for the meat offering and the drink offering is withholden from the house of your God.

¹⁴ Sanctify ye a fast, call a solemn assembly, gather the elders and all the inhabitants of the land (which in this case means all the inhabitants of the planet earth who will repent before the TRUE Christ returns) into the house of the Lord your God, (back into the many-membered body of the TRUE Christ) and cry unto the Lord,

Not only during the sixth trumpet, but also during the thousand years when the Zadok will distribute Christ’s daily teachings to the 144,000 who will then distribute them to whoever chooses to listen.

¹⁵ Alas for the day! for the day of the Lord is at hand, and as a destruction from the Almighty shall it come.

¹⁶ Is not the meat cut off before our eyes, yea, joy and gladness from the house of our God?

The ‘house’ is the temple which is the many-membered body and ‘the meat’ is the truth of God’s Word that will be cut off from most Christians.

You cannot understand the truth if you are not part of the many-membered body of the TRUE Christ and at 666 they will begin worshipping the antichrist but (again) many will come out of the confusion and back into the TRUE many-membered body when they repent and have their endless years of eternal life restored because of what the Holy Spirit will say through those who are delivered up during the sixth trumpet.

If not, they can have their endless years restored after the thousand years are finished in the second resurrection if they stand against Satan at that time having believed upon Christ’s teachings throughout the millennium sent out through His millennial priesthood.

¹⁷ The seed is rotten under their clods,

The ‘seed’ here being the Word of God, but they become cut off from the Word of God when they worship Satan at 666.

the garners are laid desolate, the barns are broken down; for the corn is withered.

They will become tares instead of wheat when they worship the desolator and will not be gathered into Christ’s barn at the seventh trumpet unless they repent beforehand.

¹⁸ How do the beasts groan! the herds of cattle are perplexed, because they have no pasture;

A pasture means a feeding place and as you can see in Easton’s Bible Dictionary: According to the Mosaic law, the mouths of cattle employed for the threshing-floor were not to be muzzled, so as to prevent them from eating of the provender over which they trampled (Deuteronomy 25:4).

These ‘herds of cattle’ have no ‘pasture’ because most of the wheat turned into tares when they took part in the great apostasy at the sixth seal, the sixth trumpet in the sixth vial.

yea, the flocks of sheep (which are symbolic of most Christians) are made desolate.

By the desolator when the fourth and final stage of the locust army begins: the consumer stage.

Same locust, four stages.

The first three stages (the gnawer, the swarmer and the devourer) are the set-up for the spiritual kill in the midst of the five month long hour of temptation.

¹⁹ O Lord, to Thee will I cry: for the fire hath devoured the pastures of the wilderness,

The fire and smoke and brimstone during the woe of the sixth trumpet which is symbolic of the deception that Christ has returned.

and the flame hath burned all the trees of the field.

Remember: the field is the world as we know from Matthew 13 meaning all the peoples of the earth (except for the Zadok initially) because when all six trumpets of deception are sounding at the same time the third part of trees will be burnt up as we know from Revelation 8:7.

This is the same third you see killed (spiritually) in Revelation 9:18 by the fire and smoke and brimstone which issues out of the mouths of Satan’s fallen angel locust army in the fourth and final stage.

The other trees (meaning the other peoples of the world) were dead already spiritually speaking because they did not believe upon the only begotten Son of God.

²⁰ The beasts of the field cry also unto Thee:

Because (again) the threshing floor is filled with nothing but tares once Satan appears as the false messiah: the evil figs which cannot be eaten they are so evil.

Only those of the Zadok remain alive (spiritually speaking) at 666 initially because they are the only ones that will have the seal of God in their forehead at that time.

The 144,000 (as well as whosoever will) receive the seal of God only after the Holy Spirit speaks through those of the Zadok who get delivered up at that time.

This is when the seed of the seal of God springs forth within the foreheads it was planted within during the grace period of the fifth trumpet.

for the rivers of waters are dried up,

The living water of eternal life will cease flowing through every Christian who begins to worship the devil (because they are no longer Christians from that point forward) but many will come out of the confusion because of what the Holy Spirit will say through the Zadok initially and then later through the 144,000 as well as whosoever will repent (being then grafted back into God’s family tree) having their endless years of eternal life restored whereby they can take part in the first resurrection and, if not, the second resurrection after the thousand years are finished if they stand against Satan at that time having absorbed the discipline Christ will teach through the millennial priesthood.

The Lord is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance as we know from 2 Peter 3:9.

and the fire (of deception) hath devoured the pastures (which are the feeding places) of the wilderness.

This word translated as ‘devoured‘ means to eat, burn up, consume as in the consumer stage of the locust army that kills that third part of men spiritually with the fire and smoke and brimstone’ which issues out of their mouths.

Christians are the only ones that can die spiritually.

‘Devoured’ is the same word translated as ‘eaten’ in Joel 2:25 and the endless years of eternal life that Satan’s fallen angel locust army will have ‘eaten’ (or consumed) can only be restored by repentance and returning to the TRUE Christ before the seventh trumpet sounds.

Otherwise, they will have to wait until the thousand years are finished to stand against Satan then in order to go into the third world age.

This can only be accomplished by washing their robes and making them white in the blood of the Lamb as you can see in Revelation 7:14 meaning they must absorb Christ’s teachings of discipline via the millennial priesthood throughout the thousand years in order to be grafted back into God’s family tree in the second resurrection becoming heirs according to the promise and able to go into the true promised land which is the Eternity.
